bad fuel milage
Hey guys I have a 92 W250 4x4 with 160,000 miles...I had the truck stock and was getting 20mpg, I recently put a 4inch lift on it and changed the tires size to a 35inch with 20inch rims...now my fuel milage is about 13mpg does this sound about right? Another question does anyone know the size of fuel tanks in these truck? Thanks for the help and comments....

You just increased both surface friction with your tires, (and the friction coefficient of rubber is pretty darned high) as well as putting a brick-like object higher in the air, creating even more resistance. What did you think would happen? 13 mpg's sounds about right to me.
And our tanks are 30 gallons. Some say 26, some say 22, whatever. Every single fuel tank that came on a diesel powered 1st gen Dodge is 30 gallons. The gassers had a smaller capacity tank IIRC.
