Some people think more boost just = more power.Without thinking about Drive pressure higher EGT's turbocharger over-speed.
The boost should only be increased to match the fuel curve for smoke and EGT control.
I changed turbocharger before I had --# of Boost now I only have -# so I will just close off the wastegate. now you have ---# of hot air

It sucks having 58# of boost....

 

When you got spinny things like you 58# is not as bad as with a HX35...

 

Geezus! If you were building 58psi with a HX that thing has gotta be pissed!

 

just saying you need the mods to support the high boost.

 

Actually the way I read the thread was that you probably got pissed from some smarty that was in his own little world about diesel theology.
