i have had enough of this truck already! heres whats happening. ill have the truck idling for about 10 mins and then it will start making a very noisy high pitch sound through the speakers and i could see the volt meter in the cab pulsating. i try to draw as much power when it happens by turning on all lights, wipers, defroster, hazzards, brichts and it still makes the noise! ihave been told many different thins and done them and nothing stopped it. i was told by a mechanic it is the alternator diodes, told by others it is the regulator and its a 93 so its built in. please help!!!

 

try running some good grounds in about 5 spots search grounds in this section there is some info

 

about 2 months ago i redid all the grounds because i was getting no charging after a new alternator and now i have this going on! i can never win!

 

welcome to 1st gens I can change the CD in my player in mine and all kinds of stuff will happen who knows

unplug ur alternator and run the truck see if it still exist
