Sad Axle hub oil leak

I have oil leaking from a strange place on the rear differential. It is leaking from between the drum and the hub flange it attaches to. Had them leak from the lip seal and the gasket on the drive axle flange, but never there. Cracked?

Ha mine just started doing the same thing this weekend. It was my seal leaking, it is designed to drain between the drum and hub so it doesnt gum up the brake shoes. I just cleaned the seal and spindle and it quit leaking, however i have to replace the shoes so i will be putting a new seal when i tear it back apart.

I hope it is something simple. This avalanche of problems with this truck is getting old.

It's cracked. Better to catch it now than when it lets you know going down the highway.
