Default how to lower my idle

I have a 89 cummins with the 727 auto my problem is that when i want to stop it doesn't like to stop. It feels like to me the engine torque is wanting to put to much of a load, so i was wondering if there was a way to lower my low idle on my pump sorry but this is the best way to explain my problem

The idle adjust screw is inconveniently located on the engine side of the injection pump. It looks just like the full throttle stop screw.

If its not your idle your torque converter might be to tight or its going bad. If its bad when you MASH the throttle to the floor it fells like you have no power. but what you described sounds like maybe its to tight...ether way id have it checked out maybe time for a 5spd

how much does a getrag usually go for i do have a complete frame of a 92 dodge w250 it doesn't have a engine, tranny, transfer case, or any axle but it still has the clutch pedal is it very difficult to do a conversion i bought the body at a auction and it has a good frame and straight panels ill have to put a few pics of it later to see what you guys think it has a jasper rebuild on it now if that means anything

A used or rebuilt trans is between $500-$1500 and iv never done a conversion but it shouldn't be that hard if its all Dodge parts...
