install is cake glue 2 mags on your dampner and run 2 wires to the tach
and if you see VAC on your gauge with the motor running shut it off because by the wrath of god your turbo is running backwards LMAO
I would have to say its probably impossible to see vac unless your demand was more than the output but thats highly unlikely to pull vac

i picked up an autometer tach, it uses an inductive pick up strapped to the alternator AND i'm lucky enough to have to calibrate the MF'in thing for an "accurate" reading

the truck has one of the dual magnet pick-up tach and they work nicely mine is just old as a dinosaur... the gauges were installed in the early 90's
