Default oil leak

changed my valve cover gaskets and power washed my motor and now i have oil weeping around injectors 3 5 and 6 how do i stop it is this a major problem or a major repair

I did the same thing to mine a year or two ago, and it still slobbers oil all over the place. Not sure what the fix is, but I'd like to know too, if anyone else has the answer!

i would try some sealant on the bottom of the gasket.

Mine leaked too, then I gooooo'd it up, and no leak no mo.

yes but they dont leak oil

what valve cover gaskets did you get? Cummins? or shitty aftermarket at a auto parts place?

either way WHEN THE MOTOR IS COLD climb up on top of it with a flash light and look at your leakers look al the way around them they are probably rolled in there

also how tight did you get the bolts?

your injectors do not leak oil, BBD is correct, the oil is coming from the valve cover gaskets.

when replacing the valve covers, you have to be carefull not to catch the head bolts, that can rip or damage the gaskets, you also have a little oring that goes around the valve cover bolt, those little orings are usally only good for one time use, replace those, I think you will find that the o rings are your problems.

i put cummins valve cover gaskets on i can watch it come out around the injector it only dose it when i rev the motor i'm dry all the way around the valve covers and i put the new o rings on the cover bolts

ok its not leaking now i think it was old oil from before wash it again and their are no new leaks thanks for all the help
