just feels gauges and a screw driver and openend wench.
1. Find top dead center for #1 cylinder on the compression stroke. (rocker on exhaust cylinders #1,3,5 and Intake on cylinders #1,2,4 should be loose)

2. Take a feeler guage, you'll need 2 different ones, exhaust requires a thickness of .020" and intake requires a .010" thickness. Slide feeler inbetween rocker and valve stem tip

3.ONLY ADJUST THE VALVES INDICATED ABOVE(refer below for rest of valves). Loosen lock nut 13mm or 14mm not sure someone please correct me. Then use flathead screwdriver to turn adjusting nut till there is a slight amount of drag on the feeler gauge.

4. Once it slides with some drag, tighten lock nut and recheck with feeler after tight.

5. Once the intake valves on cylinder #1,2,4 are set to .01" and exhaust on cylinders #1,3,5 are set to .02". Rotate the crankshaft 360* from no. 1 TDC. Then do the remaing valves the same way as above. (Intake on cylinders #3,5,6. Exhaust on Cylinders 2,4,6.

Like it said in step one, rocker on exhaust cylinders #1,3,5 and Intake on cylinders #1,2,4 should be loose. You could also use the timing pin if yours hasn't broken off. The timing pin is located at the back of the gear housing and below the injection pump. Fitting the timing pin into the hole in the crankshaft is tricky, watch the valve train until the #1 exhaust valve closes, then turn the crankshaft about 90 degrees. If the timing pin will not engage, spray it with some penetrating oil to loosen it.
