Default Best muffler for my 1st gen

I'm getting a new 3" exhaust put on, what's the best muffler(somewhat quiet) fer my 1st gen? I'm trying to keep her quiet.

Mufflers are about as useful as a poopy flavored Lolly pop. Im pretty sure hushpower makes a good muffler.

The MBRP that came in my 5inch kit for my 94 tamed mine down a bunch. However I have this thing against mufflers so its brand new sittin in the shop.

I know, maybe I should just run the 3" straight, Not to thrilled about the 3", but i'm getting it done fer free. My buddie put a muffler on his first gen and picked up 1 mpg, I was just hoping or the same, any thoughts

I'd look into Donaldson, if you haven't got it done already.

never heard of increased mpg. mufflers usually restrict and decrease mpg

Donaldson make big truck stuff like intakes filters exhaust mufflers ect ect

as a far as mufflers and what not with a straight piped 3in the turbo is loud as hell and will probably drive you nuts

some of the best mufflers that I have personally used are the aroturbine, MBRP, and Diamond eye I have the MBRP on mine right now there are 2 ways it can go on quiet or loud I have mine on loud and want to flip it around but I am 2 lazy

also running a muffler and picking up MPG thats verry true with the huge exhaust housings a little bit of back PSI makes the turbo spool faster making more power making you not have to push so hard I have found this true only on 1st gens

good luck in your venture!
