need a rebuild kit for a 90 12v i want to make anything over 550hp with 'er when shes done. i like mahle pistons but was wondering on your alls opinions?

 

those are good pistons we have sold a few sets of them

alot of guys like the shaved marine pistons

 

About as good as anything else you can find.

And if you want over 550hp from your VE the pistons will be the smallest of your problems...

Gonna take alot of hard work and good tuning!

That's the truth. I don't know which type Mahle's your looking at, but the Monotherms for our engines will set you back $3k. That's a lot of money, but no one makes better pistons. I believe they also make all aluminium pistons for our engines too, for somewhat less than the Mono's. I'm just not sure if that's with rods as well. I'm sure their website will tell you.
