My turbo is making a real loud hmming noise inside the cab. It just started the turbo still spining when i took the intake off. It doesnt sound good and it feels slower to.

 

How is the shaft play?

 

seems fine

 

What is the definition of fine? Is there any in and out play?

 

a little, when i rev it up real hight it sounds like the turbine in rattling

 

It might be shot... Still the H1C?

 

HX35, my buddy is gone hook me up with h1c but its off a non-intercooled truck,just have to change the housing i think

I had someone tell me their transmission was shot .. I drove 600 miles to let them use my truck n bring theirs home and fix it for her.... Her dad did some work on it to save her some money and used the breather cover a temp tool holder and a socket fell in the tube and when he put it back on it ate the turbo. Good thing I had a extra. Sold it to her for a 2005 5.9 for $700
