How is it now?
Something else to check would be air leaks. Even if fuel is not coming out air can get in.
Maybe the fuel shut off solinoid is falling apart and blocking some flow. Pull it, remove the soilinoid, reinstall and try again.
These trucks are STUPID simple, thats whay I can work on them...

ive not checked the fuel shut off selinoid, but ive cracked the lines and it has nothing but fuel coming out. no air bubbles.
i thought maybe i had the throttle shaft indexed wrong, it was in the same spot as original, i tried moving it one to the left and one spot to the right with no change.
double checked to make sure all the timing marks were aligned, all were
is there any way to get the pump 180 degrees out?

the throttle shaft was never rotated. i did find out i mixed up the banjo bolt and the return bult not looking at them. just seen on looked like a overflow bolt for a p-pump and assumed it was the return bolt. boy was i wrong. im getting a new timing seal for the crankshaft and ill try it in the morning

how would u go bout rotating the shaft 180. how could it get turned 180? looking insed, it didnt look like it could get turned that far. can u turn it while the top of the pump is still on it?
begle, what are u talking bout?
