Default Grid heater

one last question about this... it is suppose to be real cold tonight (under freezing) so i was just wondering, is there an amount of time you should plug the truck in? or is there like a shut off point when the truck gets warm enough??? and last but not least.. if you left it in for a long amount of time, what problems would it cause?? if any..
thanks for all the help!

Well it will take a while for the block heater to warm things up I plug mine in every day if its 110* or 10* (force of habit) it is nice to have good oil PSI right at start up and a warm heater in the winter I have left it plugged in for 4 days last year while I was on vacation and when I got back it was still at its normal temp hell the thing is there might as well get your moneys worth
