does any body know if a banks sidewinder turbo can fit on a 91 cummins?

 

Im pretty sure that banks only made the sidewinder kit for ford 6.9/7.3 idi engines and and chevy 6.2/6.5s. I believe both these turbos used pedistal mounts which in itself would lead me to say no, but the biggest thing you need to find out is which foot the ford or chevy exhaust manifold is, ie: T3,T4,T6. Our cummins are T3s and if that doesnt match its not gonna fit.

 

I don't think a sidewinder will work. They do use a pedestal mount and are smaller than stock on our trucks. I believe they are only good for 15psi or so.

i would do an hx35 if you dont have a whole lot done.

 

what do you do about the wastegate when you put an hx35 on?

 

yeah i have one and would like to know about the wastegate as well.

 

i dont really know to be honest, the wastgate on my s300 i have layin around is contained on its self if that makes any sense.
