i had a few problems. I could not get a stock 2nd gen lift pump to work. I used an airdog instead. for the most part its pretty easy. just remember that once you get your donor engine to save it until you are 100% done. things that you would think are the same are not. Let me know if you need any help.

well i dont have a donor engine, i bought all the stuff i needed off a engine from a guy for $460, including the pump. got the pump, pump gear, housing , front cover, injectors, inj lines, fuel filter assembly and lines, fuel heater, lift pump, shutoff solinoid, pump brackets, oil lines, return line, got a throttle cable from a 94 at a salvage yard. im probaly forgetting sumthing. i should have everything i need or really close.

yea ive done plenty of reading on it. i think ive got most every thing covered. i still need to buy a gasket kit and oil, antifreeze all that kind of stuff. but im still waiting on my pump to be put back together. previous owner dropped a bolt in the gov assembly and destroyed it so im having the gov assembly replaced and new 4k springs put in.
also what size injectors and turbo you running?

also i wanted to ask you if you had cruise control and if you hooked it back up. im not forsure on how all thats going to work yet

well when i had the VE pump i bought a set of SDX 5x14's. I had them rebodied to accept the larger lines the P-Pump uses. I have a single hx35. I have cruise and it is functional as well as the kick down linkage for the trans. I used the same bracket that holds the cables together and welded it right to the frame rail. ran the stock rod to the bracket on the 7100 with an extra ball stud welded to it. works great! saved some money by not getting a cable.

i used the same throttle cable bracket with all 3 cables still on it. I welded that to my frame rail. from that i used the same ball and stud rod as original. I took 1 ball and welded it to the arm of the P-pump and connected the rod. It works great!
