what gauges do i use??

Autometer Are good gauges.
IMO a fuel pressure gauge is cheap insurance. If the lift pump starts to fail it will stress your Injection pump. I'm not touching my IP till I have EGT, Boost, trans temp, fuel pressure and a rebuilt transmission.

Ok thanks guys for all the help! If I turn up the fuel screw will that also produce more boost? Also how do I get to the full fuel screw its in the back and there is no way to get a wrench down there! Any tips?

Yes more fuel = more boost and higher EGT's.
Sorry no tips on getting to the fuel screw.

EGT is just the temperature correct?
