high egt on 89 12 valve

 

what are you lookin to figure out. you dont really have much info there.

 

high egt's are 1225*+ (melting point of aluminum) in the exhaust manifold.

what are you seeing?

 

i dont think he was here to stay butt yeah 1250 is about as hot as you wanna see i can hit 1400 towing a trailor and you dont want to ever really get that high your safe up to 1600 butt not for long you shouldnt ever get over 1300 i hit 1400 onve time going 80 passing a semi with a 30 foot flat bed loaded with 5 tons of feed
