Anything citrus based. More concentrated, the better. Citrol works good, but it's awful expensive.

I used the cheap citrus based stuff from the dollar store on one of my skid loaders and it does such a good job it started removing the paint. Which pissed me off.

If the engine is hot when you do it, don't powerwash the injection pump right away.
There is a mild possibility it might cool the pump too fast and cause damage to the head.

Mark.

I used a couple of cans of tech engine degreaser from walmart.Spray on a warmed up engine ,let it soak about 5 min and spray off at car wash while running.Worked pretty good for me.

I use Simple Green, cuts grease and wont damage paint. If you take a paint brush, cut off 1/3 of the bristles it will help get the nooks, crannies and caked on stuff. Does tires too.

For the really tight spots I use my wife's toothbrush, But make sure you clean it pretty good when you are done.
