Doing the conversion on my 67 Imperial and ran into a small problem. The 92 6bt and auto trans fit in the car pretty good until I went to put the starter on. Stupid thing hits the steering arm. Just wondering if anyone knows of a smaller starter that will work for this combo or one set up in a diffrent orientation. Currently the starter motor is in a 6:00 position on the gear reduction setup. A motor in the 2:00 or so would be great or something linear. Any input on this would be GREAT.
