I used to want to do a swap, but a good rebuild of the stock tranny and a better torque converter seems to be the right answer for me.
Course a good donor truck sitting beside it might make me change my mind.

Make sure you pull the gear shifter to 1st gear when starting out with a heavy load. At least thats what I have heard AFTER I trashed TWO 727s Now I'm rolling with a Turbo 400

Default Wrong?

Wrong is blowing the sprag out of the case. Then installing a bolt in sprag like you would use in a drag car and blowing it out too. And this truck only has a little pump work! I can get stupid with a turbo 400! Now I can run any Turbo 400 chevy, BPO
