Power screw
Having pump at runaway, fuel pin, star wheel turned, and 1/8 timing bump, how much power can one expect on stock injectors? Also how bad of an idea is doing all that while doing lots of towing, will egt stay in check or are we talking total melt down if you have foot in it to long?

You intercooled injectors (if they are still good) will be good for 300-350hp with a PERFECT tune. As for "guessing" what power you will make, hard to tell. Just maxing things out wont necessarily give you the most HP and your stock turbo is gonna limit you. With a good super HX40 you should be able to see 300hp with some tuning time.

Tuning takes everything into effect... Every setting... boost, fuel pressure, timing, AFC setting, exhaust, fuel delivery everything... I do mine by seat of the pants and by no means have in perfected...
I ran into a large problem with over fueling down low.... I spent ALOT of time trying to tune out low end fuel, it was so bad I was "putting out" the fire. The truck would not spool the turbo with the sled behind it to save its life, just WAY to much fuel. I had to pull out some fuel with a combination of the full power screw, AFC, and pin. I had to go back wards (away from the common thought of more fuel) to gain usable power.
So what my story means is... keep f'ing with it until its right. Change ONE thing at a time (say full power screw) and tweak it until it makes the most usable power then move on to the next piece of the puzzle (maybe timing) adjust that piece untilk max power is achieved, then move on again (maybe air flow). When you have adjusted everything you can... start again at the beginning.

ok that makes sense. fuel pressure and boost were things i was forgetting.
i know what you mean about taking fuel away. i dont know if you follow other sites but on DTR i posted about how fuel cone depth isnt a perfected science yet and showed where mine was too deep to take advantage of the depth.... well either way, i have my afc starwheel WAY up high (i mean high, im using it so it will bind my spring and keep the fuel cone up and the small pin wont pass the o-ring) and this setting (a real tight afc) seemed to really spool my turbo better and i actually gained boost in all gears... before i was over fueling but i could clear it up in 3rd and 4th gear. now it jumps right to 42psi even in 5th gear. no more waiting for it to climb up the boost gauge.
lots of rambling, sorry. heres a pic of my starwheel just to show you how high i could get it. it's as high as i can get it without messing with total afc lever movement.
