Default new turbo, Hybrid 40

i found a new turbo , it is a hybrid 40. 12cm exhaust side for quick spool, and a compressor from an 8.3 cummins. Im thinking of replacing my stock one on my 92 with this one. its rated for 315hp to 425hp. ideas? or whatever?

it does sound like a 35/40 hybrid... not worth 1/2 of what they are asking. for 1400 you could have a good s300.

$1400??? Sounds like they are looking for a sucker. Unless the compressor snail is gold/platinum plated, it's not worth that much.

Holy crap, $1,400!!!

That's the rip off of the century. What you described is a HX35/HX40 hybrid. I would not pay $500-$600 for it. If its brand new maybe $700-$800. For the price that they want you can buy yourself a NICE S300 based turbo from most of our sponsors.
