Default please please please help! backfiring than killed

k so driving my truck an it started to lose power everytime i hit about 30 and 40. then the day after i started it up and was driving and it started backfiring with some white smoke. wasnt doing it too bad just when i got on the throttle. by the end of the night on my drive home it would backfire everytime i stepped on the gas and i had to keep a little throttle on at stop lights or it would die. didnt let it till i got home but when i did it died before i even parked it. now she wont start.. is it my lifter pump maybe? please any and every comment people have please post i need help

Its something with your fueling. My grandpas 24v does the same thing. Lift pump would be my guess.

im just going to ask, have you changed the fuel filter?

Could be an air leak, could be a fuel supply problem, could be a broken spring inside the injection pump.

I'd start with a fuel supply issue... Either a leak, pressure problem, or obstruction. Could also be a bad fuel issue... When did you fill up last? Change your filter and see if it runs better.
