A518 limits.
So I got my OD working, I drive big truck, wife bought a horse trailer in wa and followed me up to get it from ca. Everything went fine till we hooked up 10k lb of trailer. It went to **** quick! Trans started slipping and wouldn't kick down on hills. It's fried now and getting a rebuild, guess the question is what am I limited to pulling with this trans with fresh rebuild and converter?
I have no source, but I recall someone mentioning that Dodge put the towing limit for a stock A518 at 7,000 pounds.
I was told by my transmission builder that I could tow up to 14,000 lbs. People tow more with first gens and do fine but, I can't imagine doing that.

I'm towing 15k + with a home built 727 trans with mopar performance clutches Goerend converter derail pan with the cooling fins no under bed cooler trans-go shift kit. also drag racing I built it almost 2 years ago & have not had any problems using Valvoline atf-4 synthetic
Maximum Towing Capacity: 11400 lbs 92 dodge 350 factory spec
& your 92 f350 truck max tow spec was 12500. You should be fine when you get it back. I would not go with a factory convertor, suncoast or BD
