so today was a great day.locked keys in truck,check, but worse part is When keys were recovered as i pulled out, i Heard and felt a really loud snap come from the rear diff or somewhere back there and now theres a constant grinding when in motion,and thats not all now the transmission is also making a Very Loud grinding sound and both sound like they are running with no fluids and full of broken gears,but theyre both full of oil.I just had all of the Brakes Redone so idk if that has somethin to do with it??? and this is on the truck i just purchased

pull the rear diff cover and check out the gears

 

So I pulled the cover and theres brass shavings inside.. and the trans noise is just getting louder but i havent looked into that yet..should i just invest in a dana 80 and nv4500? would an 80 from a 2nd gen fit and also what do i need to do a 4500 swap t-case? bellhousing?
