moog 7226s springs
The application is for the last of the "old body" GM 1 ton Dually Crew cabs, something like '86-'92.
The wire diameter is slightly larger, the free/installed heights are a smidge more, but they use the same inner diameter.
The wire size is what really makes the difference, of course THAT is the dimension that eludes me.
I went to Rockauto with the app. and did the comparison and it did indeed come up with a usable difference.
Mark.
LMAO, leave it to you to come up with that!

The 7226 spring is used in alot of suburbans also, I found this by going to Rock Auto also...
It did mostly level mine out.It sits about an inch lower in the front, but I have an add a leaf in the rear spring pack.If it wasn't for the add a leaf it would be level. The pictures in my gallery show the truck before the 7226s springs.
The Moog 7226S is the wrong spring for a 1st gen dually. You want the Moog 5716S spring.
7226S Load rate per in = 1135 lbs/in
5716S Load rate per in = 1430 lb/in
In addition the 5716S is slightly larger.
