Default 93 CTD severe injector pump leak

Hi I just bought a 93 and the injector pump is leaking very badly from between the pump and block, down about 2 inches and spraying into the block. I mean it's leaking a quart every minute? I looked at the sticky and it's in the area the "cover plate", that is held on by 2 torq bolts and looks like a "seal ring"
If so could the pump be clocked and allow the replacement of this O-ring seal?
There is a "slotted shoulder screw" could that be loose?
Thanks, Artie

I know exactly what you are talking about. My truck had the same drooling problem when I got it(that's why I got it so cheap). Figures it's always the one between the pump and the block instead of the one that's out in the open. Anyhow, I ended up just taking the pump off and replacing the o-ring. I had to make a wrench to get that pesky third mounting bolt/nut off though. If I remember correctly I cut a 13mm box end about 2 inches long and then welded a 3" 3/8 drive extension to it(and then plugged my 12" extension into that one). Once I had my custom VE pump removal wrench, it was a breeze! If you choose to remove the pump, just remember to mark your timing etc when you take it apart.

Yep, that's the one, Bombstack! I can see 1 torq bolt is loose... Hope the IP case isn't stripped! Lookin' for an O ring, Thanks, Artie

Its best to get a gasket kit Bosch P/N dgk121 and change all the orings in the fuel pump at the same time. Dont foget to use locktie blue the cover screws. This is very common on VE pumps. Ken
