Default Is removing the afc worth it?

I just maxed my pump out (taken to runaway and backed out a turn or so) and my buddy keeps tellin me to take the afc out. i know its a big thing on the p pump trucks but i know its different on these. So my question is it worth it to take the afc out of the VE or should i just buy a fuel pin? i already have the spring out and the "smoke screw" flush with the nut. those are my only afc mods.

I want to make 450hp, but i still want to be able to pull a trailer. So i have an S300, and i'm goin to go with a 4inch exhaust with two 7 or 8 inch turnout stacks. any suggestions on injectors?

Thanks

No, its been proven that afuncining AFC is a big part of making big usable power. Get a pin of your choice and let her eat!

Yep, 14mm rotor head is getting near the exotic side of things. You can grind the AFC foot and make a custom pin (the one that rides on the fuel pin). Lots of small stuff can be done but a lot is exotic and makes the truck less fun to drive or less reliable if its done wrong.

I have the 3200 spring in it already, and i dont really want to go with a 14mm head & rotor because i wanna still tow with it. I'm gonna have to buy a clutch now because the stock clutch slips once i get in the higher rpms. anybody know of a good clutch? i was wanting a dual disc because i wanted to pull it like 2 or 3 times a year and was told i'd smoke a single.

Most everybody can make as much power as they can afford on a stock head and rotor. Most people are not going to make over 400 horses on fuel only. A stock head can do 450 plus on fuel.

Is you truck non intercooled? If it is you have big injectors already unless somebody swapped them for newer ones.
