Default I want a sleeper!!!

Ok, here goes, what would it take for me to make my 1st gen a real sleeper? Just an out right fast bit@h! Goldies non-IC'd and I just won a fuel pin and springs from DB (THANK YOU!!!!!!!!) So how much cash (REALISTISCLY) do I need to spend, and on what key mods?? My trani's fine, well it's not broke, LOL, so I'm not replacing it. Give me some input. I think I sold my 2nd gen, so I'm think about putting a little cash in Goldie. I know she's a beater, but I want a sleeper!! If possible.

build the second gen....

better turbo, bigger sticks, intercooler, NOS, WM, new tranny and converter. and you should be able to push some numbers.

X2 on the 2nd gen but Goldie looks old and kinda trashed (no pun intended) what you need to do is keep it "looking" stock from the outside but have the motor pushing 400-500 HP and be fast as hell. I have seen guys run 3 mufflers in a 4in system to a 14in "tip" of the stock exhaust pipe to make it quiet and look stock You still have my email bill? if so hit me up and I will send you some things

First gens can be respectable too. No need for a p pumper.

the biggest advantageteh 1st gen has is its LIGHT!

400-500 hp is insane in an auto 1st gen, VERY fun and definatly a head turner.

Start with the basics, good air (turbo, intercooler), more fuel (injectors, while stocker will support 350-400 hp I would bet that your original injectors are worn out), good tranny, traction. you can do it for not crazy money if you get all teh tuning spot on.
