Sure can...I believe it's PDR that has a '40 wheel and housing you can buy.

Biggest problem is you'll STILL have a 3" exhaust....
Why buy 1/2 of a good turbo?

Could I just update the wheel? I like the 12 cm housing for it's quick spool and low end power. Would this increase fuel economy? The truck already has more than adequate power for what I need. I definitely don't want to decrease it's low end grunt.

I'll have to look into upgrading to a 4" exhaust. There are several companies that sell them for under $300 for Dodge. Wonder if it's close enough to fit my Suburban?

I called Coolingmist and they told me people install water injection to increase power and lower EGT rather than for increasing mpg. They indicated that the single stage system would probably not increase fuel economy because it only comes on during heavy throttle. However, the 3 stage had the possibility of increasing fuel economy because it has a small nozzle that injects water during light throttle. They were not sure if fuel economy would improve if I modified a single stage system to come on at light throttles.

I'm still looking for answers on adapting an HX40 wheel into my HX35 with 12 cm housing.

With diesel at nearly $4 per gallon and a $500 per month fuel bill for just personal use, any help in the fuel economy department helps.

Understand. 25mpg is excellent. Most I ever got from my 1st Gen was 21mpg straight highway. There is a point if diminishing returns and also a point at the end of that quest where a 3-ton internal combustion-type vehicle cannot get any better fuel mileage no matter what you do to it. Sometimes I wonder if the Gear Vendor was mistake because it will be at least another few years before it pays for itself with fuel cost saved.

To the original post, have you ever calculated your final drive ratio or ratios in each gear? Also how much would you say your total vechicle weight with the cummins in?
