If the game warden would have let you, that ram sure would look good on the wall.

When they totalled my 85 1ton, the dude that worked with the insurance co came to pick it up, he told me straight up, dude im buying this truck, and take what you want now, because you won't see it again. I called my insurance rep, and he said, yes this dude that contracted the work has 1st dibs on totals, cause only a small percentage of peeps want their vehicles. State Farm gets a kick back on that ****. Just my 2 cents. So I took my 2 new batteries and cryed as he pulled away with Big Red

Why give them the title? I would hold off till I got it back honestly, I did that with my 1986 ford diesel.. and eventually they decided they didn't wanna pay to hold it so they dropped it off that was Allstate of all people. This truck is on progressive and i'm not gonna let it go away from me regardless. as for totals.. they go to auction so i'm not sure how anyone can have dibs before you, if you tell them you plan to buy it back they pretty much have to let you as far as I know.

all ohio code states about it is that they don't have to issue you a check until you obtain a salvage title.. it was yours to keep until you signed the salvage title over to them, basically you got taken advantage of.
