Default truck will NOT stop letting water in

my truck will NOT stop lettin water in around the door seals. i have replaced the weatherstrippin and adjusted the door. ive done everythin i know how to do and im really gettin fed up with this. i cant figure out where it leaks but somehow it comes in on the bottom towards the rear of the cab. itll then go over the chrome strip that holds the carpet down and puddles underneath my carpet. could the drain holes in the doors have somethin to do with this? i was wondering if anybody else had this issue. thanks everybody

my 93 leaks really bad when it rains hard, I think I have located the source, the cab lights.

I will be putting on new cab lights with better gasket (silicone )

not sure if your problem is the same as mine, hope it helps.

mine leaks bad too. seems to be coming from somewhere under the dash. i have no clue what it could be. Your problem considering it being the lower rear of the cab could be the rear piece of trim. The last piece of trim is secured by two screws behind the seat. check those.

The vent wings leak on my at the bottom pivot and gets water on to the chrome stip like yours and I know thats a pretty common place for them to leak. might look at that

i believe i found the problem FINALLY after many minutes of lookin. the strippin that rides on your window whenever it goes up and down had a split in it on the backside about one inch long. the only thang i could figure is it was leakin through there and down the regualtor onto the inside panel of the door and out the retainer clip hole in the back. ordered me some from 1AA Auto and cant wait to get it back in. i completely redone my interior and i really wanna drive it

when mine was doing that, it was because the paint/filler had cracked in that gap where the roof sheetmetal meets the back of the cab. Something to check maybe..
