Default mileage?

ever have just a crappy tank you got horrible mileage off of?

last time I put some fuel in.. 7gallons and I was on E it was gone in 2 days, I drive maybe 30 miles a day.. plus a little local running around. 2 days 60-65 miles and all 7 gallons are gone.. that's around 8mpg?!?!?!

haven't noticed anything different running wise, no noises, lack of power, excessive smoke, etc etc.. and I'm reeeeeallly hoping it was just a bad bit of fuel but what might I start looking into if it continues?

you need to pull that size 12 out of the backside of that pump and your fuel mileage will increase it seems like this time of year everyone gets bad mileage but dang thats bad right there i havent checked mine in a couple of tanks i guess i need to.

no change in driving style..

speedway diesel = low mpg
circle k diesel = normal i compare from
get-go B20 = better mpg
BP diesel = twice at BP i got water in fuel, and one fillup there and the truck would barely run.. i avoid it like the plague.

just my observations. not really relevant..

I do 90% highway driving.. usually run 85-90mph on the speedo which is really 70-75 in reality, and it's at a pretty high rpm so I know the mileage drops off considerably.... but never been this bad! and yeah lost a bit to winter blend but it's only 1-2mpg.
