dont run it, drain your filters, and gas tank and blow your lines out and put a full tank of fresh diesel in there and you should be ok, as long as nothing was damaged before when he was driving it

you prob didnt do any damage yet. from all the stories ive heard of this happening ive never once heard of any real damage occurring from it. on the other hand ive heard and seen catastrophies from using ether and on a cold morning ether is a generally accepted practice. the point is drain/suck/whatever u gotta do to get most of it out and then fill it up with diesel fuel and maby add a little extra fuel lubricity treatment if ur paranoid. FPPF or FS (fuel service i think is its full name) are both good ones and should be used anyway with todays ultra low sulfer fuel, and u should be fine

I dranked the tank and lines it started up first crank could only put 3 gallons of diesel in it but i also added howes fuel treatment and 2 stroke but it will not go over 30 mph now seams to be stuck in second is this because of left over gas or something totally different

well the transmission is something completely different than your fuel system. did you take off the water in fuel filter on the side of the block and put diesel back in it? and you need to fill the tank 3 gallons wont dilute the 87 gas you need at least full tank

i drained the tank completely i can't fill the tank past 1/4 tank because of some random leak i let him drive my truck to school today like a 5 mile drive he said it worked fine till he put 9 bucks in the tank and drove it back to school i drained the tank cracked the lines and rinsed out the fuel water separator with diesel like 3 times let it soak for like 10 mins but why would this cause it not to go over 30 i never had any problems from the trans
