Default Wait To Start?

my wait to start light only comes on sometimes. seems like it only comes on when its warm. is this a sensor or something? when the light doesn't come on it doesn't want to start in the cold.

your KSB solenoid should engage at 64 degrees Fahrenheit and below.

theres no indication of ksb in the truck. The ksb is only there to limit white smoke.

therre is a manual page floating around explaining the operation of the grids, check the stickies.

it should come on every time you turn the key, it should actually start running the grids at 60* for 10sec. and all the way to 30sec runtime the colder it gets. I suggest checking the temp sensor on the intake.

the temp sensor on the intake is the one i meant not the ksb i dont know why i said that. is your computer intercooled or not? if it has a computer the wait to start light comes on and off through the computer.

if you dont have a computer there should be a module that controls your intake heaters and stuff on the firewall by the steering shaft.
