hey guys iam running a stock 7mm injector and a maxed pump (by a shop) i am getting what can be described as a slight miss it causes a vibration and pop in the exaust i dont lack to much power (i guess iam used to another 100HP) well it smokes like a mother and EGT's rise real fast i still can only build 15-18psi boost but the turbo spools really fast my fule psi at WOT is 6-7 psi iam thinking that my timing is too far retarded? the pump is to the head and on the old setup this was fine all i did was ney bearings, push rods, head, and these 7mm injectors i have popped the injectors 3 different times all is good at a cold start-up with a laser temp gun reads (temps taken in order 1,2,3,4,5,6, 1,2,3,and so on )

1.57,62,78,84,99
2.69,71,84,96,111
3.69,73,91,110,135
4.68,76,89,99,110
5.66,77,88,94,109
6.70,79,89,99,112

notice the too major differences what causes this an injector spraying to much and too little the pump should not have any major probs it got checked at the shop 6 weeks ago and has only been ran for 5 hours

if your pumps to the head your not retarded.This is advanced position.real advanced.This is probably causing the miss at higher rpm

i know this but i have seen guys skip up to 3 teeth in the advanced potion it is more noticeable under a lug/load and has a vibe at idle and some at high rpm pushing your pump to the head is not an uncommon practice it really helps the EGT'S that's what i dont understand that my EGT'S rise to 1100 FAST i can hit a 1000 in 2nd gear but i cant get over 1100 and 15psi boost but these injectors haze a little at idle and smoke as bad as the 9mm did it dont make any sense

boost leak will raise the heat and lower boost

Narrow pattern on the 7mm nozzle, I received your 9mm's today. When I switch to a 145° injector in the non I/C engine, the pump gear is advanced 2 teeth.
