Getrag Shift Kit?
I've just bought a 1989 D250 with 92,000 miles, and it is bone stock. Is there any kind of shift kit available that will shorten the throw on the shifter? Also, is a fuel pin the best place to start to get performance from the engine? I'd like to keep the economy while adding some horsepower, so what pin might be best for that? And finally, is there an intercooler kit available aftermarket for these early non-intercooled models? Many thanks.
first get guages!seriously.Start with the free pump mods.Youll be more then happy.Ive got a 200hp 4bt and i dont need anymore power, trust me!Max the afc and a few turns on the full load and bam!pick it up a notch.
This is my third Dodge Ram with the Cummins diesel, but I've never done any modifications to any of them. If you don't mind, could you be a bit more specific about the specific modifications to the pump, along with locations of the screws, etc. Thanks.
