Default Insulation?

Hey all


I'm puttin on a new air intake horn and the insulation on the hoods in the way. I was wondering if any of u guys have taken it off and if it makes the engine louder or not.

Just makes the engine noise a little quieter....theres no real need for it.

Mines gone and no problems at all As far as louder I don't know if you will really notice it

I replaced mine with Dynamat. It comforms to the hood shape and keeps the sound at the original level

mines gone hasnt hurt a thing as far as the noise level
