The nice thing about the BD "profile" (and I'm not talking about anybody's piece, generally speaking - you can whittle up a piece of metal with a lathe and grinder any way you like) is it holds full fuel back until towards higher throttle and higher boost levels - when you really need and want it.
But if you want drive around blowing smoke all the time and wasting fuel, by all means get the more agressive profiled pins!
Also unlikely to cause the commonly encountered fuel pin leak when the fuel pin extends out beyond it's useful travel into a deeply cut cone.
