I highly doubt it. Otherwise there would be no reason only 2 or 3 companies offer exhaust systems for 1st Gens. You can get a full 4" system with a 3" downpipe for around $350 though.

It was either BullyDog or Expandit, I can't remember which. Of course when I was looking ti was almost two years ago, so the prices may have gone up since then. Your best bet is to ask for a quote on this website (there is a section for it) and vendors will PM you with what they have and the price. If memory serves correctly though, it was 'LukesDiesel" who had that price.

Yes, some aftermarket systems come with a 4" downpipe. Rip at sourceautomotive, sells a 4" downpipe by itself as well, or you can get a full 4" system from him. That being said, if you have a stock turbo, or even an HX35, a 4" downpipe won't matter, as the turbo still has a 3" outlet. I'd wait to get a 4" downpipe, until I got a turbo with a 4" outlet.

oh i did not know this. that is useful knowledge. but an aftermarket 3in. is better than stock? less kinks and bends?
