Default Truck Value

My girlfriend's grandfather has a 92 or 93 D350 with a 5spd and aproximately 120k miles. He wants to sell the truck and a 1996 collins 37 foot 5th wheel with 3 slide outs. He won't give me a price he just wants me to make an offer. The truck has a fairly new transmission and an exhaust brake. It is an extended cab truck. He is the original owner and it has not been modded.

whats wrong with the rag i just rebuilt mine and it had 486,893 miles in it i put some syncros and bearings in it good to go and it was a hay hauler for a local feed outfit since it was new in 1990 i dont think they ever unhooked the 30foot flat bed then i bought it 4 years ago drag raced the **** out of it and finally knocked the 2nd gear syncro out just 3 months ago

I just keep reading about them having problems. I guess with it being rebuilt recently I will feel a bit better about it and if I get it I'll make sure to overfill the transmission.

If you want a 4wd buy a 4wd. Don't be leary of the getrag. Its a great tranny. Overfill it by a quart, dont lug it while towing and it will be a great tranny for a long time. People "in the know" Like teh rags better then teh NV's, KTA made all his power with a rag, they shift faster and have better gear spacing then teh NV's also.
