vehicle speed sensor question

vehicle speed sensor and electric vacuum sensor question
on a 93 cummins 4wd auto trans, ont he np205 is the speed sensor. my question is does anyone know how many pulses per mile the speed sensors put out for the electric speedo? thanks
and also on alldata im wiring something up and it says one of my connectors goes through an electric vacuum sensor. anyone know what or where this is. i cant find it anywhere

The only way I can think to find this out is count the number of teeth on the phonic wheel and take that number.
Then find out how many revolutions the output shaft makes in a mile with the stock size tire. To find this out take the circumference of the stock tire and divide into 5280.Then take your gear ratio in the rear end and devide the tire rotation number.then you will know how many times the output shaft spins in one mile.
each tooth on the wheel should be a pulse.
Hope this is correct I am no mathmatician.
