my 91 dodge lost od then came back and lost it agen this went on for a month then lost it all together. did the test to the t.p.s it was not working so went and got a loan of one that put ot the proper volts but sitll no od. what could it be?

 

would a valve body make my tranmisson not go into od?

 

Is your truck 4wd?

 

you tested the TPS. what about a wire to the TPS?

 

If it's 4x4 the sensor on the transfer case can come loose and cause your speedometer and od not to work. I had had mine fall off before

 

its not a 4x4 and i have no tps on it i have a togle switch on it.

 

So if you put the toggle switch on it, you can take the TPS off? Just asking because I had to put a toggle on it.

 

i did and it has been working for over a year.

would a spring be week or broke and not let it go into od??

 

itsw the silienoid in the valve body no big deal i had one do the same and cost less than $100 to have it fixed

 

i tested the silienoid and it works, would it be weak?
