does anyone know where i can get 3.08 ring and pinion. i dont know if it is even out there

i don't think a dana 60 goes that high. In one of the magazines they wound up going to a built ford 9" to get higher gears.

The 89-91 727 non I/C'd trucks had a Dana 70 with 3.07 gears. I don't believe R&P sets are available aftermarket for some years now. Best bets will be junkyards, donor trucks, stuff like that.
