found a 1st gen, is it worth it?
That's definitely worth it for $1,200, what's the worst case scenario? Get a rebuilt IP for about a grand and you're into it $2,200 for a good truck with a fresh pump and almost new engine!!
That really is nothing for miles, I just tore down a 350k mile cummins, too hot of EGT cooked the #5 piston and took out the bearings, the other five pistons looked absolutely perfect.

300 what are they used?
... hmmm headgasket i should probably look into doing one of the old girl too... i KNOW its been overheated once or twice. cousins dont knwo when to let out of the skinny pedal or what gauges are for... women should be well instructed repeatedly until they do know how to haul
I was just saying 300 for the studs, nothing for the head gasket or anything else; I just checked the invoice, it was actually 350 for the ARP's I just bought last week for the '00 I'm working on, they're brand new. my bad.
i just bought them for my 90 and $457.99
