does anybody know of someone would would trade a 1989-1993 dodge cummins or a 1982-1998 chevy diesel for a 2004 honda 400ex plus maybe $300? getting license and would like to have a beautiful cummins to drive

 

Most guys with 1st Gen's won't let them go very easy, especially to a gasser. You'd be better off trying to sell that, and using the money for a Cummins.

There are some very good deals to be had in this economy.

 

for sure, i picked mine up for 650 bucks... granted the old girl needed some work... 3 months later and it on the road and just about new from head to toe... but most places you can't get a blown up cummins that still has a good block for 650 bucks

 

stay away from the chevy 6.2 and 6.5 diesel theyre garbage from the 82-98 models. just as peobryant said sell it and look for a good deal. no matter what year a cummins is a good motor regardless

 

i know this ain't a quad forum but how much do you think i can get out of it?

 

as long as your 400ex is in good shape and you haven't beat the **** out of it, you can get about 2500 for it. that's a good amount of starter money for a cummins
