I have a hx 35 turbo i'm guessing it's from a 94-98 cummins and i was wondering if a downpipe made for a 89-93 cummins would work for it I didn't know if they have different turbos. I am puttin the turbo on my six-five and I need the 90 bend so it will fit in just right.

 

yeah it will work as long as it has teh 3" outlet.

 

where would a guy get a 4in downpipe with the adapter for a 3in turbo

 

what you are looking for is called an hx35 style 4" downpipe, it has the 3" flange to be bolted on the elbo then it goes into 4" directly after. i found mine on ebay new for $100 last fall

 

how much boost will one of these hx 35's make??? I have to waste gate mine to around 15 lbs. I'm trying to make a mechanical wastegate with a spring. Think it'll work??
