The 91 that I have will run 75. If I push it, will run over 100. The 366 spring maybe in it from the factory. I know the owner I bought it from knew nothing about diesels for sure....

Glad you got it worked out. This is the first time I've been on in two days so I havent seen this til just now. I couldve told you exactly what it was as mine did the exact same thing. It idled to high, my throttle worked backwards for a while, then to low and missing real bad then you hit that perfect spot and she's ready to go. Glad you got it worked out sorry I couldnt help you out with it!!

You know its funny, when it happened to me the other day I couldnt find anybody who knew what was goin on or heard of anything like it now 2 or 3 of us have all had the same problem within a week. Guess we need to spread the word haha. I know it scared the hell outta me i thought I had destroyed my pump!

I know it scared the hell out of me too. But, I reckon I know that pump like the back of my hand now. Seriously, anyone got a blindfold??
