i,m look'n to buy a 1991 dodge 250 5.9 cummingstubo diesel it has 200,000km on it and its an old timer thats got it up for sail the truck is in great shape for a 1991 3000 is the price and im just wondering what i should look for any advice??????

 

well that is a good price if its in real good shape BUT, there is 2 different trucks in the 1991 model year, the early models are non-intercooled and have a 3 speed transmission with a 3.07 geared rearend, if the truck is a late year 1991 it is intercooled and has an overdrive automatic with 3.55 or 4.10 gears......both trucks could be had with a 5 speed with either the 3.55 or 4.10's......

and its spelled cummins.....


make sure there is no bad leaks, tranny shifts good, motor dosent run rough or seems to be down on power.....

 

Is it 2wd or 4wd?
