Default In need of 1992 Auto Trans

Hey all, I find myself in need of a Auto O/D with the 4x4 housing. I have a 2x4 version for trade. Or I can purchase the trans. I am on the east coast, VA. Trying to get my truck on the road without breaking the bank. And believe it or not, the wrecking yards in VA do not have any of the Cummins trucks.

Many Thanks,
William

Hiding out down here in Stafford. Nice and quiet..... Shoot we have enough property and trees the wife could wash my truck in the buff...... ;-) (Of course she would not agree)

The truck it is going in is a 1977 Plymouth Trailduster. I had that thought, but the overall wheelbase may be too short. I have to get the body off the frame to measure.

hey neighbors, I am near Hopewell, VA.
What tranny is it? OD? what kind of shape is the trans in?

I have a 90 with the 727, it leaks down overnight, shifts fair. I have it on the "need to soon" project list. After reading here, it seems like my most practical option is to go through the tranny and put in a good torque converter. But an OD swap would be nice if everything worked out good (and cheap).
